Android App Industry Will Soon Make More Revenues Than IOS App Store
App Annie, a mobile app analytic is out with reports which reflect that, despite being on a lead, iOS app store sales will soon be surpassed by Android app industry, which is estimated to double its yearly revenue by the end of this year.
This includes Google Play with other Android third party apps, which will together contribute to revenues which will surpass Apple App store’s total financial revenue. However, App Annie, also predicts that Google Play will top the sales in the app world, somewhere in 2021.
As of third party apps, it is estimated that these parties will earn double the revenue compared to their last year’s income which was $10 billion. Some of these third party apps are from sources like Tencent, Xiaomi, Huawei, Baidu and many more. Majority of these companies’ success is credited to growth in China and other countries such as Brazil, Indonesia and Mexico.
India, China, Brazil, Indonesia and U.S accounted for over 54 percent of apps downloads in 2016, which is estimated to remain the same in 2021. Analytics have made a prediction that the total app download will contribute to over 352 app downloads by 2021. This will help the app store earn more than $60 billion by 2021, according to the reports presented by App Annie.
