Mario Kart Deluxe 8: Review
Mario Kart is all set to take over the world again with its Mario Kart Deluxe 8 version, which is exclusively available on Nintendo Switch. Earlier, the old version of Mario Kart 8 was available on Wii U, which unfortunately won’t support the latest version. The game is identically similar with only a few twists and turns. Mario Kart 8 was already the best game in the long running race of kart racing. However, Mario Kart Deluxe 8 is loaded with features. If you are playing Mario Kart then leave your Wii U behind and grab the Switch as soon as possible.
Mario Kart Deluxe 8 comes with 8 new unique racing maps, with 5 new modes.
Balloon Battle – In this mode the user is supposed to pop as many as balloons of the opponents while preventing any damage on their own balloons.
Renegade Roundup – It includes Piranha Plants which are carried by the latter opponent, who can capture renegades while placing cages throughout the map.
Bobomb Blast – It is basically like Balloon battle, but with bomb. Users can carry as many as bombs as they want. User won’t be damaged by his own bombs and these bombs will be matching the color of your balloons.
Coin Runner – This mode basically shells or sheds coins from users who are hit on or are attacked by a certain weapon. Other opponents can collect these coins to increase their score.
Shine Thief – In this mode, user is supposed to capture and hold a shine sprite, while other players try to steal it from you.
These 8 maps include Stadium Track, Sweet Canyon Track, Dragon Driftway, and Mario Kart: Double Dash, Battle Course1, Turf War map, Wuhu Town and Rainbow Road themes.
In Mario Kart Deluxe 8, users can actually explore these maps and battle grounds as they move ahead in the game. There is a special auto accelerated feature to help young and new users understand the basic working of the game.
Other features include Ultra Mini Turbo which allows an orange and sparking pink gas from your vehicle. There are numerous other tweaks involved in this game, including the color changes and vehicle stats. All the characters in the game are basically unlocked apart from the Gold Mario, for which the user has to win all the single player races, maintain the no 1 to grab a taste of this shiny Amigo. You have to win the 200CC Grand Prix in order to win this Gold Mario.
The game offers both solo as well as multiplayer spilt screen. You can use two Joy cons or use a grip and second pro controller to enjoy a dual match of Mario Kart.
King Boo, Bowser Jr. Gold Mario, Dry Bones, Inkling Girl, Inkling Boy are some of the new characters in Mario Kart Deluxe 8.
