Android Phones are being compromised by hackers using Google AI

Something very dangerous is taking place right now. The Android phones have been found to be taken over by hackers in a new way. Their way of doing it is by using the AI of Google itself. This is possibly the first time that such incident has occurred. This threat was found out by the security company ESSET, and they are alerting people all over.

Your Phone is being attacked by a Fake App

Researchers of one of the companies, named ESET, have discovered a malicious application. This is called PromptSpy. It somehow pretends to be and act like it is a real banking app. The majority of people are unable to distinguish that it is fake. Hackers once it gets into your phone, they have the ultimate control. They are able to read what you say. They are able to steal your passwords. They are able to view anything that appears on your screen. They are even able to type and press buttons on your phone. You would not even have guessed that it is taking place.

Google AI is a Weapon

This virus is not the same as ever witnessed. It involves the use of Google AI, known as Gemini. The AI examines your mobile phone screen as a human being would. Then it commands the virus on what to do next. This renders the virus very intelligent and difficult to prevent. It is compatible with just about any Android phone. It does not count what brand of phone you have. It is difficult even to uninstall the app. The virus prevents the delete button from working, so it can’t be deleted easily.

Basic Precautions to take to safeguard yourself

You can be safe, as long as you are careful. Always try to download applications from the Google Play Store. Do not install the applications of unknown websites. Be cautious of any app requesting access permissions. Such is a typical hacker trick. Always have your phone up-to-date. In case your phone is strange or slow, restart it in safe mode. Malicious software will not be able to operate under safe mode. Turn on Google Play Protect in your settings, as well. It is able to prevent previously known versions of this harmful virus.
