This is not a project that was done in a hurry. This project was started by Samsung two years ago. But the company has not done it alone either.

Samsung collaborated with outside experts and its own personnel. The camera work was the sole responsibility of the Mobile experience Business. The Samsung Research team was responsible for the main video technology. The visual style was reinforced by a professional colourist studio named U5K Imageworks, who have worked not only on local productions, but also on international production work.

The outcome is four different cinematic effects. All this is done through a new video format called the APV codec. Samsung claims that it maintains almost perfect image quality even after editing
