Recently Google was in the news, announcing a likely delay in Android Wear 2.0 release, due to an unspecified bug. However, this delay was not for long, as the company soon announced the launch of 2.0, which is now available in five more watches; including Nixon Mission, Polar M600 Fossil Q Wander, Michael Kors Access and Fossil Q Marshal.

Over 19 old watches are said to get a Wear 2.0 update. Google also stated that Fossil Q Founder, TAG Heuer Connected and Casio Outdoor Smart Watch WSD-F10, are already in their update process and will be out in the market soon.

Android Wear 2.0 has been a challenging update, which has kept people waiting for so long. Thankfully the wait is over, as these are a whole new set of devices that are ready to get the new software. Although the platform has now been improved a great deal, the smartwatch devices continue to be a niche for just a few makers. It is also speculated that not all devices will be able to receive this update.
