Recently a Lenovo representative took to Twitter to announce that the new Moto Z2 Play will comprise of 3000 mAh non removable battery, which fans think can  be a big mistake. Users feel that launching a small battery can directly affect the sales of the product.

However, none of this criticism is addressed by Lenovo, which just seems to be excited about the product launch. It’s still unclear if Lenovo representative, Auxen, deliberately leaked the details, or it was a marketing gimmik. The post can still be seen on Twitter; however it seems odd that a manufacturer will reveal battery details without any official announcements.

This seems like a major year for Moto, as the brand plans on launching its much hyped Z line of Smartphones. Recently, some details of Moto Z2 Play were leaked, which further initiated its buzz. In fact, the whole line was including Moto X, Moto Z, Moto C and Moto G series. It seems like Moto’s new parent company Lenovo, is left with no choice but to unveil its handsets.
