Samsung’s Non-Beta Internet Browser Available On Nexus And Pixel Phones
Recently Samsung launched an internet browser exclusively for Android, called Samsung Internet Browser. This internet browser is compatible with all Galaxy phones, but it also works on Google Nexus and Google Pixel.
Previously, the browser beta version was not compatible with non Galaxy devices. So even if you owned a Google phone, with or above Android 5.0, then you can go ahead and take benefits of this new browser in the market. Samsung has made this software available to all android devices which are available for download on Play Store.
Samsung Internet Browser just like Google Chrome is also based Chromium, which is an open source browsing project. However Samsung does have its unique touch, which is privacy focused and uses ‘DuckDuckGo’ and Quick floating Menu that allows the users to easily switch between the pages, text size and also allows you to open new tabs.
This is a major step for Samsung, who is trying to create a name outside the Smartphone industry. Google also seems to be supporting the company, as they have made sure that Pixel and Nexus users are also able to use this browser.
